About the role
- Responsible for managing technical project managers who oversee technology projects to ensure completion on time and within budget
- Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables for projects managed by direct reports
- Monitors multiple projects, evaluates and manages risk, coaches and manages project managers
- Incorporates quality measures and standards to project delivery
- Must be able to manage projects and backup direct reports
- Manages project managers in all phases of the project life cycle
- Allocates appropriate resources and adjusts plans to meet project needs
- Oversees project risks to ensure delivery of business goals
- Leads change and executes on IT objectives through oversight of key IT stakeholders and owners
- Manages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conducts performance reviews, and provides leadership, technical guidance and coaching
- Shares knowledge and develops staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues and best practices
- Develops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve results
- Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience
- Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis
- Stakeholder Management
- Vendor Relationship Management
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Agile Management
- Project Management experience
- Experience developing, monitoring and managing project budgets and schedules
- Knowledge of Agile Management; Scrum (Software Development); Software Development Life Cycle
