About the role
- Oversee planning, execution, and completion of small to medium-sized Technology projects
- Own and lead diverse set of technology resources for duration of project in matrixed environment
- Drive project activities through SDLC applying project methodologies and enforcing standards
- Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, develop project schedules, and acquire resources under Senior Leadership supervision
- Communicate project status, issues and risks to Senior and Executive Technology Leadership
- Create and maintain project plans and ensure effective financial forecasting and tracking
- Interface with other technology and business organizations to agree on scope and resources
- Review and evaluate work to ensure quality, timeliness and adherence to policies and procedures
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members and act as team leader on systems projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar OR High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years relevant work experience
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement)
- Three (3) years of project management experience required
- Preferred: Five (5) years of Project Management experience
- Preferred certifications: PMP, Scrum Master (CSM)
- Intermediate knowledge or skills in: Managing multiple projects in various SDLC stages
- Knowledge of PMBOK methodology (Guide Five and Nine, Waterfall)
- Agile Project Management methodologies
- Leading infrastructure-related projects (network upgrades, hardware procurement, core Technology application deployments)
- Systems strategy definition, requirements, designing/prototyping, testing, training, support procedures
- Presenting and communicating to technical and non-technical audiences, Senior Leadership, VPs and C-Level Executives
- Ability to interface with senior-level stakeholders to partner on scope, risk mitigation and issue resolution
- Understanding of IT Governance and reporting
- Ability to create and present executive level presentations or communications
- Written and verbal communication skills and listening skills
