💰 CA$130,000 - CA$150,000 per year
About the role
- Manage large, complex initiatives with high internal visibility
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors from ideation to delivery ensuring successful project delivery
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and product objectives are met
- Create delivery plans; lead requirements gathering and analysis; identify dependencies; manage issues, risks, and change requests
- Manage stakeholder and project team expectations and communication flow regarding scope, deliverables, and responsibilities
- Lead and motivate project teams to develop and execute project objectives
- Oversee planning and delivery using Agile methodology (epics, user stories, PI planning), set deadlines and assign responsibilities
- Act as a change agent to improve processes and support deployment of project management standards and guidelines
- Create, maintain, and communicate comprehensive project documentation
- Provide leadership and direction to formal and informal project resources and implement standardized Agile/project management practices
Requirements
- Ability to manage customer facing, Agile projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or CSM certification
- Thorough working knowledge of SDLC models/methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
- 10+ years project delivery experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with agile development teams and leading Agile project delivery
- Experience managing large cross functional programs impacting external customer facing products
- Experience managing onshore, offshore, internal, and external vendor resources (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate the big picture
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); ability to interact with all levels of management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high efficiency
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams of professional and technical personnel
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in information systems or a related field (nice to have)
