Manage a team of global program managers/Customer Focus Team leads and/or customer sub-division
Manage significant or strategic customer accounts and overall customer relationships
Provide collaborative support to Sales and Business Development for quotes on manufacturing, product solutions, repair or design services
Contract and commercial management, account profitability and financial performance oversight
Develop and execute Account Plans for growth and supervise pricing/quoting activities
Identify customer needs and opportunities for growth; act as customer advocate
Coordinate new program introductions and product transfers between sites
Plan and monitor activities to ensure product deliveries, quality, schedules and MRP commitments
Lead program tracking meetings, forecasting, planning, and corrective action coordination
Prepare, distribute and analyze customer surveys and self-assessments; resolve customer issues
Participate in pricing/bid preparation, contract development, and monitor cash cycle impacts
Provide performance reporting and analysis for monthly commercial and operations reviews and quarterly customer satisfaction
Provide direct and indirect supervision including long-term planning, budgeting, policy formation and staff coaching
Regular interaction with executives and major customers; represent organization in public venues
Frequent overnight travel as required
Requirements
Twelve plus years of relevant experience
5 years experience in Account Management or Business Development
Experience leading account engagements with responsibility for customer satisfaction, contract negotiation, commercial management, financial performance and team leadership
Working knowledge of EMS/JDM/ODM business engagement models
Experience with supply chain management principles, practices and buying behaviors
Demonstrated ability to achieve financial performance objectives in revenue and profit
Significant experience with information and management systems (implementation and adaptation)
Ability to mentor and motivate geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams
Strategic thinking and ability to deep-dive tactical operational issues
Strong analytical skills and decision-making with limited data
Experience in hardware manufacturing; EMS background preferred
Multi-Geo Site Operations and P&L responsibility a plus
Hardware procurement / OEM experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field; MBA preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
