Manage a team of global program managers/Customer Focus Team leads or a group of customer sub-divisions
Manage significant or strategic customer accounts in Connectivity and Cloud Solutions
Provide collaborative support to Sales and Business Development for new and competitive business quotes (manufacturing, product solutions, repair or design services)
Contract and commercial management for assigned customers
Ensure account profitability and financial performance
Drive overall customer satisfaction and act as primary executive interface
Develop and execute Account Plans for growth
Supervise pricing and quoting activities across Sales, SCM, Quoting and CFT
Identify customer needs, expectations and opportunities for growth
Support coordination of new program introductions and product transfers between sites
Oversee projects/programs on a multi-site and global basis, including MRP volumes & commitments, NPI support, manufacturing readiness reviews and contract execution
Plan, budget, implement and maintain costs, methods and extended support teams
Direct and control cross-functional teams through local managers; assign objectives, review performance and coach staff
Regularly interact with executive and major customers; resolve customer issues and complaints
Participate in forecasting, planning, pricing/bid preparation, contract development and cash cycle monitoring
Provide performance reporting and analysis for monthly commercial and operations reviews and quarterly Customer Satisfaction
Requirements
Relevant experience in leading account engagements with responsibility for customer satisfaction, contract negotiation, commercial management, financial performance and team leadership
Working knowledge of EMS/JDM/ODM business engagement models
Experience in contemporary supply chain management principles, practices and buying behaviors
Demonstrated ability to achieve financial performance objectives in both revenue and profit
Comfort with key operational and financial metrics
Significant experience with information and management systems (implementation and adaptation)
5+ years experience in Account Management or Business Development related roles
Ability to mentor and motivate a geographically dispersed and culturally diverse organization
Strategic thinking and capability to deep-dive into tactical operational issues
Ability to think quickly, learn rapidly and make fast decisions
Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on limited data
Ability to manage complexity across multiple organizations and product lines
Hardware manufacturing experience, preferably with EMS background
Multi-geo site operations and P&L responsibility is a plus
Hardware procurement and OEM experience preferred
Frequent overnight travel may be required
Bachelor's degree in related field (MBA preferred)
