Create business relationships and increase incremental revenue selling CRM software to CDK clients through face-to-face sales activities
Work in conjunction with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK Strategic Products to grow CDK’s share of wallet in existing client base
Achieve annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of Director of Sales
Set clear, measurable performance goals and develop an overall sales plan and forecast short and long-term sales results
Identify CRM opportunities with existing customers; grow and maintain existing accounts
Generate significant revenue and profit growth utilizing a disciplined and process-oriented approach
Develop comprehensive understanding of CDK products and their functionality; work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process
Monitor industry segment and competitor developments in the market and/or territory
Focus on consultative relationship with the client and bring integrated solutions
Escalate customer concerns/issues for timely and appropriate resolution
Manage territory across NY, NJ, CT with ~75% field travel and weekly overnight travel expected
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
1-2 years of B2B selling experience
Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationships
Automotive retail experience
Experience using consultative solution selling to align client’s business needs with a solution
Experience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities
Ability to manage a sales process and provide customer support based on the needs of the client
Experience with developing and managing a sales territory
Persuasive written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Experience using a CRM system
75% travel in the field with weekly overnight travel expected
Must reside in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut to be considered
