About the role
- Work in conjunction with Senior Account Development Executives in an apprentice-like role
- Assist with new sales opportunities, pre-sales discovery, solution designs, and issue escalations
- Participate in the sales discovery process to uncover prospect/customer business objectives, challenges and issues
- Assist in responding to functional and technical elements of RFPs
- Coordinate activities with internal teams through the sales and implementation process
- Contribute to documentation and recording of activities per established best practices
- Serve as a liaison between sales and other business units, executing sales administrative requests
- Gain understanding of the industry segment and monitor competitor developments
- Work with internal and external teams to ensure successful onboarding and rollout of solutions sold
- Utilize technical knowledge, administrative and sales skills to support revenue generation
Requirements
- 1-2 years of demonstrated ability to build business relationships in a b2b sales environment
- Ability to manage a complete sales process
- 1-2 years of experience managing account plans, work opportunities, and closing business
- Knowledge of automotive retail processes and products
- Level of comfort with digital technology solutions
- Experience utilizing CRM
- Willing/Able to travel 50% to 75%
- Must reside in territory (Northeast, MidAtlantic and parts of the Southeast, as far as GA)
- Bachelor’s degree
