Drive growth of wear services (CDP wearplate, Castotube, LaserClad and complementary products) targeting strategic POWER GENERATION accounts
Collaborate with the Services Team to provide technical and application support
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, end users and OEMs (including mining and cement references in posting)
Identify prospects and customer needs; develop messaging for new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion
Maintain an opportunity pipeline in Dynamics CRM; review team opportunity reports weekly and report to management
Provide technical, design, and product support; assist with proposals and quotations
Maintain cross-regional cooperation to share best practices and improve technical and commercial approaches
Ensure achievement of sales volumes, revenue targets, and improved gross profit margins for Wear Services
Support development of organizational vision, mission and objectives to generate revenue and profitability; identify and help resolve critical business issues
Represent the company at marketing events, trade shows, conferences, and training workshops
Keep key documentation updated in CRM and deliver expense reports on a weekly basis
Travel up to 60%
Requirements
10-15 years of relevant industrial sales experience OR 10-15 years as maintenance supervisor, maintenance manager, maintenance planner, reliability engineer, sales engineer or similar in power generation operations
Solid understanding of wear issues and wear management solutions in the power generation industry
Comfortable speaking with maintenance, engineering and purchasing personnel within key accounts
Basic understanding of welding, maintenance and repair technologies
Consultative communication skills
Hunter mentality with cold-calling experience
Basic understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of basic print reading skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Dynamics CRM and maintaining an opportunity pipeline
Self-motivated, self-directed, well organized, detail-oriented, good time management skills
