About the role
- Maintain and grow sales in existing customers (customer retention)
- Prospect for new customers, acquire new accounts and perform cold calling
- Provide service and technical support to existing customers with technical support group assistance
- Coordinate requests for information or quotations
- Manage approval projects for new technologies and applications
- Develop and execute a territory plan
- Propose and implement marketing strategies in the territory
- Ensure continuous improvement and share technical, competitive, and product information and methods
- Maintain key information in internal CRM system
Requirements
- 2-5 years of SALES experience - Cold Calling
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic knowledge of welding/welding distribution, wear mechanisms and maintenance & repair welding
- Target-minded; driven to succeed and thrive under pressure
- Energetic and self-motivated
- High level of integrity and commitment to serving clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong ability to listen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and versatile
