About the role

  • Maintain and grow sales in existing customers (customer retention)
  • Prospect for new customers, acquire new accounts and perform cold calling
  • Provide service and technical support to existing customers with technical support group assistance
  • Coordinate requests for information or quotations
  • Manage approval projects for new technologies and applications
  • Develop and execute a territory plan
  • Propose and implement marketing strategies in the territory
  • Ensure continuous improvement and share technical, competitive, and product information and methods
  • Maintain key information in internal CRM system

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of SALES experience - Cold Calling
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic knowledge of welding/welding distribution, wear mechanisms and maintenance & repair welding
  • Target-minded; driven to succeed and thrive under pressure
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • High level of integrity and commitment to serving clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills and strong ability to listen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and versatile
