About the role
- Serve as strategic growth leader for Backyard Poultry brands in retail poultry nutrition
- Develop strategy, build solutions, and execute marketing plans to solve customer problems
- Recommend strategic investments and execute innovation plans for future growth
- Connect opportunities with relevant portfolio and align with organizational strategy
- Create and implement marketing materials, optimize product portfolio, and bring new products/services/solutions to market
- Consult with customers using market insights and create marketing plans to drive customer success
- Lead key projects and manage the United States project portfolio
- Define priorities and brand strategy, balancing long- and short-term goals, risks, and strategic fit
- Establish best practices for project management and implement clear metrics and tracking systems for the portfolio
- Provide expert thought leadership and potentially direct supporting team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
- Experience managing budgets and utilizing business decision metrics
- Experience in go to market strategies (leading projects, handling resources, preparing launches and tracking results)
- Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry or Food and Beverage industry
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA
- Preferred: Experience in the Retail industry or Pet Food industry
- Preferred: Business consultancy experience
- Eligible for a discretionary incentive award (dependent on company and personal performance)
