About the role
- Plan and coordinate activities to execute strategic implementation and maturity of production excellence processes across manufacturing plants
- Manage a team responsible for key operational metrics, practices, priorities and technologies
- Organize and maintain deployment of production excellence processes within facilities to ensure sustained process deployments
- Maintain business relationships for process improvement and ensure consistent process standards
- Execute operational and strategic plans and lead deployment of value capture, portfolio and continuous improvement tools
- Prioritize, support and deploy leading practices and ensure proper implementation and communication on objectives, performance measures, issues and risks
- Establish, implement and assess program effectiveness and track performance to established goals
- Prepare, administer and control implementation of smart manufacturing and digital solutions in production space
- Foster culture of operational excellence focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity
- Lead and develop a team including hiring, performance and disciplinary actions and collaborate with managers and supervisors on staffing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
- Black belt certification (preferred)
- Lean six sigma (preferred)
- Operational excellence knowledge (preferred)
- Project portfolio and governance skills from identifying and aligning value drivers to govern a portfolio (preferred)
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and database applications and modeling tools (preferred)
- Experience with management system and technical gap assessments and solution identification (preferred)
- Three years of supervisory experience (preferred)
