About the role
- Partner with Enterprise Data, DFS teams, Lines of business and other divisions to drive efficiency for the execution of Enterprise Data Platform Convergence and other programming activities that impacts all Capital One Divisions.
- Maintain and facilitate program standards, practices, and governance.
- Ensure proper documentation to mitigate risk and ensure on time delivery.
- Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.
- Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.
- Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent.
- Partner cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
- Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
- Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts.
- Communicate and partner with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
- At least 5 Years of Project Management experience
- At least 1 year of experience working with technical and product teams
- Masters / MBA degree (preferred)
- At least 8 years of Project Management experience (preferred)
- At least 2 years of Data Management experience (preferred)
- At least 2 years of executive presentations and storytelling experience (preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience working with technical and product teams (preferred)
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
