About the role
- Demonstrate proficiency in five key areas: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership.
- Lead development of a proprietary talent and performance management platform for the Capital One enterprise.
- Develop customer-backed and data-driven insights to shape an inspiring multi-year vision and roadmap.
- Shape strategy for the talent and management experience to ensure a best-in-class experience for business partners, people leaders, associates, and HRBPs.
- Lead teams of product managers across product strategy, roadmap development, design, documentation, testing, and monitoring.
- Partner with stakeholders across business, technology, design, and the enterprise to balance customer needs, tradeoffs, and risks.
- Collaborate with peers leading data and platform initiatives to drive innovation and minimize arbitrary uniqueness.
- Establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, gain alignment, secure resources, and overcome impediments by influencing senior executives.
- Attract, grow, and coach top product talent and remove impediments to team delivery.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience working in Product Management.
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) OR A Master's Degree in a quantitative field OR an MBA with a quantitative concentration.
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products (Preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in Agile product management (Preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in HR and talent data or platforms (Preferred).
- Comfortable influencing senior executives and communicating product vision.
- Bias toward action; ability to deliver iteratively and focus on minimum viable product.
- Experience partnering with Technology leaders to influence architecture and drive scalable, secure solutions.
- Experience attracting, growing, empowering, and inspiring product teams.
