About the role
- Support the Property Manager in cultivating a motivated, high-performing team and lead by example.
- Promote a friendly, service-oriented office environment prioritizing resident satisfaction.
- Drive leasing efforts to achieve and maintain target occupancy (goal: 99%) and implement leasing/renewal/retention strategies.
- Conduct outreach marketing on campus and with local businesses and support annual marketing plan development.
- Maintain property and competitor knowledge through regular market research; ensure marketing materials align with brand standards.
- Coordinate and promote resident events and community-building functions; represent property at university functions.
- Deliver first-class service to residents, prospects, and parents; resolve resident concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records in property management software; process leases and administrative paperwork.
- Support property upkeep and curb appeal; assist rent collection to meet or exceed 98% collection rate.
- Assist in achieving NOI targets through leasing and cost management and identify revenue/improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 2–5 years of experience in student or multifamily housing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with property management software, preferably Entrata.
- Familiarity with both market-rate and LIHTC programs is a plus.
- Understanding and adherence to Fair Housing and EEO laws.
- Experience in hiring, staff development, budgeting, marketing strategy, and scheduling.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve resident concerns professionally.
- Willingness to undergo criminal background and drug screening.
