About the role
- Assist managing the day-to-day operations and sales team while on traveling tour.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance, coordinating logistics, maintaining proper inventory and controls.
- Oversee the tour’s inventory and distribution team members and conduct inventory audits.
- Train and mentor other staff members and enforce company policies and mitigation procedures.
- Ensure concessions, merchandise, and photo equipment are clean, working, displayed, and stored properly; repair and replace equipment.
- Coordinate transportation and placement of trailers, vehicles, ice merchandisers, and equipment; ensure safety during load in/out.
- Oversee hotel accommodations, room assignments, and policy enforcement for all staff; communicate with housing/hotel staff.
- Purchase and order local commodities for venues; verify invoices and manage vendor orders and payments.
- Ensure sales locations are set up properly with required electrical, lighting, and sound power.
- Oversee sanitation protocols, food handler guidelines, and assist with local agency and venue inspections.
- Supervise concourse sales during performances, ensure merchandising standards, uniforms, customer service, and resolve customer concerns.
- Coordinate with Tour Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with mitigation guidelines and document implementation in post engagement reports.
- Oversee local or agency vendors, secure appropriate vendor numbers, issue and collect vendor uniforms, and ensure policy compliance.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of retail/food management.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Valid Passport (must be able to travel domestically and internationally).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and a variety of computer programs.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Multi-lingual a plus.
- The ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift 50lbs.
- Ability to communicate on various organizational levels with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under high pressure and quick deadlines.
- Experience in food service (Food Handler or Food Manager Certification a plus).
- The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 90-100% of the time.
- Given the touring nature of Feld Entertainment’s business, COVID vaccination is strongly encouraged for successful candidates.
- If visiting a jurisdiction that requires vaccination, proof of vaccination in accordance with relevant international law should be submitted at least six weeks prior to the start of the tour.
