About the role
- Develop and support execution of training programs and resources to advance sales productivity and field sales efficiency
- Support new hire onboarding and advanced clinical and sales training
- Manage training program logistics and communications
- Develop agendas, curricula, learning activities, and competency assessments
- Manage LMS content and curriculum
- Design and develop training modules and sales tools using video, SCORM, audio podcasts, and presentations
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, KOLs to develop podcasts, virtual calls, conferences, and live training events
- Partner with sales leadership to align training objectives with commercial acceleration strategy and measure KPIs
- Evaluate and update programs to improve learner retention and competitive product knowledge
- Incorporate innovative learning approaches and technology
- Plan and direct complex cross-functional training activities and lead risk mitigation and issue resolution
- Participate in planning and execution of national and regional commercial meetings and strategic projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field; alternatively certification in instructional design with demonstrated experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- 7 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum 5 years within the medical device industry
- Experience with developing meaningful learning solutions impacting sales organizations
- Proven success operating in a matrix environment
- Ability to travel up to 50% (may include overnight/weekend travel)
- Must meet hospital credentialing requirements (background check, drug screen, certain immunizations)
- Must be insurable and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Legal authorization to work in the United States required
