• Manage VAT compliance across the group, including timely and accurate submission of VAT returns and managing the VAT group structure

Commercial Lead – Invoice Finance

Compliance

• Own and shape the compliance and regulatory approach for embedded finance and invoice finance products
• Architect, implement, and own the end-to-end Compliance & Financial Crime Framework for the digital receivables lending product suite
• Design and deploy risk-based CDD/KYC, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring
• Act as primary compliance authority for the product team, advising on new product features and market expansion
• Oversee day-to-day compliance operations ensuring alignment with regulators and the wider banking group
• Conduct product-specific compliance risk assessments and lead remediation initiatives
• Work with compliance monitoring and internal audit to ensure policies and procedures are audit-ready

Compliance Lead

• The Regional Lead will initially be instrumental in the development and launch of the product. Thereafter, they will be responsible for origination, structuring and execution of facilities which meet the lending requirements of Allica. In addition to origination, the role will initially carry responsibility for delivering a high-quality relationship and ongoing risk management for a portfolio of cashflow clients.
• Using knowledge of the market, contribute to the design and delivery of a cashflow funding product that meets the needs of an underserved borrower population.
• Origination, structuring and execution of new cashflow funding facilities.
• Promoting awareness in the professional services communities regionally.
• Identification of opportunities which are compatible with Allica’s risk appetite and provide returns in line with requirements.
