About the role

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers during the sales process, providing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices
  • Build strong foundations pre-sales to enable long-term partnerships between Braze and customers
  • Act as a technical thought leader across industry verticals, customer types, and geographic markets
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, security, and product teams to shape solutions and proposals
  • Deliver technical storytelling and demonstrations to make Braze capabilities tangible and build customer confidence
  • Mentor and support Solutions Consultants on the team
  • Travel to customer meetings and events, up to 50% at peak times

Requirements

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow up skills
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success
  • Experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team
  • Domain knowledge of two or more of: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics, or Programming (even just HTML)
  • Ability to mentor Solutions Consultants
  • Willingness to travel, at most 50% at peak times
