Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers during the sales process, providing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices
Build strong foundations pre-sales to enable long-term partnerships between Braze and customers
Act as a technical thought leader across industry verticals, customer types, and geographic markets
Partner closely with sales, marketing, security, and product teams to shape solutions and proposals
Deliver technical storytelling and demonstrations to make Braze capabilities tangible and build customer confidence
Mentor and support Solutions Consultants on the team
Travel to customer meetings and events, up to 50% at peak times
Requirements
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow up skills
Team player with strong collaboration skills
High level of intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
Experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success
Experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team
Domain knowledge of two or more of: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics, or Programming (even just HTML)
Ability to mentor Solutions Consultants
Willingness to travel, at most 50% at peak times
