About the role

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers during the sales process
  • Bring extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to pre-sales
  • Lay strong foundations pre-sales for long-term partnerships between Braze and customers
  • Act as a technical thought leader across industry verticals, customer types, and geographic markets
  • Partner with sales, marketing, security, and product teams
  • Mentor Solutions Consultants on the team and expand thought leadership skills
  • Create confidence in Braze’s capabilities through technical storytelling, demos, and integration guidance
  • Travel as required (up to 50% at peak times)

Requirements

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow up skills
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • High level of intellectual curiosity
  • Experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success
  • Experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team
  • Domain knowledge of two or more: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics, or Programming (even just HTML)
  • Experience mentoring or serving as a mentor to Solutions Consultants
  • Willingness to travel, at most 50% at peak times
