About the role

  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers during the sales process
  • Bring extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to pre-sales engagements
  • Serve as a technical thought leader across industry verticals, customer types, and geographic markets
  • Partner with sales, marketing, security, and product teams to drive deals and establish long-term customer partnerships
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Solutions Consultants on the team
  • Build prospective customer confidence in Braze’s capabilities through technical storytelling and demonstrations
  • Support expansion of thought leadership and collaborate cross-functionally on customer strategy
  • Travel up to 50% to support sales engagements and customer meetings

Requirements

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills and strong follow-up
  • Team player with collaborative mindset
  • High level of intellectual curiosity
  • Experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success
  • Experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team
  • Domain knowledge in two or more of: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Programming (e.g., HTML)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% at peak times
  • Experience mentoring Solutions Consultants and leading technical thought
