About the role
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for Emerging Enterprise accounts
- Own a portfolio of prospective and existing enterprise customers
- Generate new business and develop pipeline through prospecting and outreach
- Sell Braze’s customer engagement SaaS platform with deal sizes typically $200K–$1M+
- Engage and align stakeholders across IT and business functions
- Collaborate with marketing and sales enablement teams to support lead generation
- Use CRM (Salesforce.com) to manage sales pipelines and forecast
- Contribute to team goals and operate with autonomy and accountability
Requirements
- 5+ years selling SaaS solutions to enterprise clients (minimum 5 years overall industry experience)
- Proven track record in generating new business and strong prospecting/business development skills
- Experience selling typical deal sizes $200K to $1M+ per year
- Background in Enterprise Sales for Marketing Technology preferred
- Experience engaging stakeholders across IT and business departments
- Familiarity with analytics, CRM, marketing automation, digital media publishing, or content marketing solutions
- Experience with Salesforce.com CRM or other CRM systems (required)
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new cloud applications and tools
- Proven ability to connect with others through social media and other platforms
- Demonstrated success navigating large organizations and identifying key decision-makers
- Experience collaborating with marketing/sales enablement and contributing to lead generation efforts
- Experience in a startup technology company is a plus
