About the role
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for Braze’s Emerging Enterprise team
- Manage a portfolio including prospective and existing enterprise customers within Braze’s Enterprise segment
- Generate new business and drive strong prospecting and business development activities
- Engage stakeholders across IT and business departments to align on substantial SaaS investments
- Collaborate with marketing and sales enablement teams and contribute to lead generation efforts
- Use Salesforce or other CRM systems to manage pipelines and forecast opportunities
- Quickly identify key decision-makers within large organizations and understand decision-making processes
- Represent Braze’s customer engagement platform and communicate product value to enterprise clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to enterprise clients (minimum 5 years overall industry experience)
- Proven track record in generating new business with strong prospecting and business development skills
- Experience selling deals typically ranging from $200K to $1M+ per year
- Background in Enterprise Sales for Marketing Technology preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Experience with Salesforce.com CRM or other CRM systems required to manage sales pipelines
- Ability to quickly adapt to new cloud applications and tools
- Proven ability to connect with others through social media and other platforms
- Awareness of current trends in the digital and application industries
- Demonstrated success navigating large organizations and identifying key decision-makers
- Experience collaborating with marketing/sales enablement teams and contributing to lead generation efforts
- Experience in a startup technology company is a plus
