About the role
- Develop account plans for new and/or existing accounts and close full solution sales to corporate customers
- Prospect new customers and new business at existing customers; prospecting is a must
- Maintain a clean sales pipeline with 3-4x coverage of sales targets monthly and quarterly
- Handle major accounts (companies with revenues of $500M+); lead entire sales process from initial contact through renewal
- Meet or exceed revenue targets and provide reliable sales forecasts
- Work cross-functionally to tailor solutions to customer needs
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Regularly update CRM (salesforce.com) and engage in direct client meetings in person or via MS Teams
- Travel to customer sites 25–50%
Requirements
- Proven ability to sell complex software solutions to large enterprises (revenues of $500M+)
- Consultative and value-based selling approach; experience selling to C-level executives
- Skilled in leading detailed sales processes involving various stakeholders; ability to develop and execute an account plan
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and its applications in legal department operations
- Enthusiastic about prospecting and able to manage the entire sales cycle independently from initiation to closure
- Experience with Salesforce (salesforce.com) and maintaining CRM records and sales forecasts
- Minimum of 7 years direct field sales experience (college degree preferred)
- Demonstrated track record of sales quota over achievement
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, legal, and other teams
- Self-starter with a growth mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Able to work from a home office and travel to customer sites 25–50%
- Candidate must live in or be close to assigned territory covering Texas
