About the role
- Plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle-balanced system of systems and system solutions
- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and ensure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces
- Perform analyses to optimize total system architecture considering affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory compliance, certification, product assurance, and other quality factors
- Develop, organize, implement, and monitor requirements management processes, tools, risk management, issue resolution, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes
- Resolve cross-functional technical issues
- Work in a Lab environment utilizing simulations, stimulations, analysis tools, and general-purpose test equipment to define, create, and execute various scenarios to integrate and verify aircraft avionics functionality and capabilities
- Support test execution activities and support activities required to prepare lab for test execution
- Coordinate closely with external organizations including Air Force personnel, Air Force F-22 Customer, and F-22 Team Companies
- Required to work 100% onsite at the Hill AFB, Utah facility
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
- Experience with Aircraft Avionics Systems such as Comm Nav, Data Links, Weapons, Radar, Electronic Warfare
- Experience with the Test Engineering lifecycle: requirements, test design, test documentation/reporting and test execution
- Active U.S. SECRET Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) or a U.S. Security Clearance active in past 24 months
- Ability to obtain an F-22 Special Access Program Clearance
- 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Previous F-22 experience (preferred)
- Active F-22 Clearance (preferred)
- Experience in Radar development, integration & verification preferred
- Willingness/ability to work 100% onsite at Hill AFB, Utah
