About the role
- Understand and design for digital and analog data; create wiring between sensors, equipment, and production components
- Tap into production data, manage fiber optics, provide protection from EMI, and deliver power to equipment
- Create electrical schematics and drawings defining hardware for flight test data systems using Mentor Graphics and AutoCAD legacy data
- Support the full design cycle: requirements synthesis, layouts, coordination with mechanical designers, preliminary design review, engineering release, and change incorporation
- Work closely with manufacturing engineers on producibility and procurement and coordinate with suppliers
- Support modification teams during installation and occasionally provide ship-side support, including assembly line, remote US sites, and sometimes international sites
- Support Saint Louis production programs (F-47, F-15, F/A-18, T-7A, MQ-25A, Weapons) across platforms
- Assist with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements
- Develop or modify basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements and perform system tests to verify operational and functional requirements
- Assist in monitoring suppliers' performance and support resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies
- Research basic technologies for potential application to company business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Experience with and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start) — U.S. Citizenship required
- Export control compliance: must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

- Preferred: 1+ years of experience in electrical systems design and analysis
