💰 $68,000 - $110,400 per year
About the role
- Design and model mechanical interfaces of avionics, electrical components and other equipment
- Perform 2D and 3D modeling on new production F-15s and retrofit of legacy F-15s
- Work closely with other platform systems teams to ensure seamless integration of advanced capabilities onto the platform
- Design and model using 3D modeling software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications
- Assist with engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests)
- Develop and maintain basic product detail, assembly and installation designs
- Follow documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture
- Collect data to support the development of statements of work
- Review functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture
- Work 100% onsite at the listed location and support F-15 Fighters Equipment Installation Team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field
- Level 1: 1+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Level 2: 2+ years of experience leading or working similar projects or teams with a Bachelor’s OR work-related experience with a Masters
- 1+ years of experience working with computer aided design (CAD) such as Siemens NX
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience with wire design/wire harness installation and/or equipment installation
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience working in the aerospace industry
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- U.S. Person required for export control compliance (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
