💰 $55,250 - $108,100 per year
About the role
- Support procurement activities for aftermarket goods and services in a fast-paced environment
- Manage all supplier-related activities with authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
- Manage high volume of supplier purchase orders/contracts and oversee source selection for parts and services
- Prepare, negotiate, execute, and document RFPs, supplier contracts, and purchase orders in accordance with regulatory requirements and Boeing procedures
- Support Proposal Board activity by gathering supplier cost and lead time inputs
- Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
- Manage supplier performance, interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions
- Initiate supplier improvement activities aligned with program business unit goals
- Communicate and engage with stakeholders across functions, programs, and suppliers to manage risks, issues and opportunities
- Coach, mentor, and train junior team members
- Act independently on routine problems and possess complete knowledge of company/local policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience working in Supply Chain
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline and/or 2+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer is highly desired
- Experience in proposing, negotiating, and executing contracts and/or subcontracts is desired
- Experience with strategic sourcing and managing supplier performance is desired
- Experience with Project Management is desired
- Must be drug-free; post offer testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met
