About the role

  • Provide advisory-based sales and relationship management to attract, retain and grow a portfolio of prospect and client relationships
  • Demonstrate understanding and care for clients through proactive delivery of holistic advice and solutions
  • Coordinate an integrated team of subject matter experts to craft and execute client solutions
  • Develop and execute business development strategy, sales targets and sales results for assigned region
  • Develop internal and external networks and referral sources; enhance market presence with integrated business development plans
  • Act as primary Relationship Manager for assigned client relationships; lead annual client reviews and produce client reports
  • Lead/assist with creation of business proposals, relationship plans, financial plans and client presentations
  • Identify client needs and facilitate resolution of client issues; introduce subject matter experts to clients
  • Share wealth solutions expertise and product knowledge across regional team
  • Manage resources and lead execution of strategic initiatives to deliver business and financial goals; recommend priorities and roadmaps
  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues and provide insights and recommendations
  • Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensure alignment across banking, trust and investment disciplines
  • Monitor and track performance; design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
  • Lead or participate in change management activities, communication plans, and operational program execution
  • Oversee design, development, and implementation of tools and training required to deliver business results
  • Design, implement and manage core business/group processes and programs
  • Follow risk and compliance processes and policies to safeguard customers’ assets and maintain privacy
  • Operate at group/enterprise-wide level as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MBA certification preferred
  • Certified Financial Planner is preferred
  • Experience dealing with HNW clients and equivalent knowledge base
  • Broad knowledge of all facets of wealth management
  • In-depth / expert knowledge of Bank products, services and capabilities
