About the role
- Regularly update existing ServiceNow applications to ensure compatibility with new ServiceNow releases and features
- Certify applications by ensuring they meet ServiceNow standards and guidelines
- Tracking changes in future certifications and providing requirements for updates to meet certifications.
- Work closely with the ServiceNow Certification Team to address any issues raised during the certification process
- Fix bugs, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with ServiceNow Store requirements
- Manage the end-to-end process of certifying and publishing applications to the ServiceNow Store
- Ensure application performance and reliability post-upgrade
- Design, develop, and implement new applications using ServiceNow, integrating them with BlueCat products
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional applications
- Develop and document best practices for BlueCat product integrations within ServiceNow
- Create and customize Spokes for ServiceNow integrations
- Provide technical expertise to optimize integration strategies for scalability and performance
- Collaborate with technical project managers, integration architects, and software architects to deliver high-quality solutions
- Stay up-to-date on ServiceNow best practices, platform updates, and emerging trends
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of development processes, automation, and system performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
- Proficient in developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications, including ServiceNow updates and releases
- Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and custom spoke development
- Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs
- Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB or other ServiceNow modules
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
