About the role

  • Report directly to the Environmental Solutions Group Portfolio Leader and grow Environmental Practice in the Western U.S.
  • Seller-doer role (60% sales/business development, 40% delivery/project management).
  • Build go-to-market strategies, develop and implement Solution growth campaigns, and build a pipeline with government and industrial clients.
  • Collaborate across sectors and Solutions/Operations teams to scale solutions and expand delivery capacity.
  • Oversee Environmental sales funnel, manage pipeline, and monitor profitability and campaign performance.
  • Equip sales teams with marketing tools and align tactical go-to-market plans.
  • Foster a science-driven, business-oriented culture, mentor emerging leaders, and align staffing with strategic needs.
  • Guide Project Managers to deliver environmental projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
  • Support cross-functional integration with a Community of Practice mindset.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of environmental and ecological planning and consulting experience in multiple sectors, including government, industry, and commercial.
  • Proven experience leading technical and project teams in the environmental and ecological space.
  • Experience serving in client-facing roles and with both private and government clients.
  • Experience in scaling environmental services.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies and their permitting functions.
  • Deep knowledge of the west coast market and western U.S. region.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search).
