Estimator

• Responsible for oversight and preparation of lump sum, unit rate and cost plus estimates ranging from simple cost analysis to definitive estimates in support of proposals, project controls and project change orders
• Assists in the pre-construction activities and coordinates estimating efforts across multiple disciplines
• Prepares cost estimates on proposals, projects and studies and ensure that the content of the estimate is complete, accurate and meets the requirements of the estimate or project plan

Operations

• Perform real-time operations of distributed asset power generation technologies in the Remote Operations Center (ROC).
• Interface with multiple parties for identification, diagnosis, and resolution of site operations and maintenance problems, including the site O&M team, site owner, regulatory agencies, and B&V leadership.
• Engage in multiple aspects of ROC responsibilities including communications with clients as well as internal team members to maintain contractual obligations.
• Follow and operate to scheduled energy dispatch instructions.
• Follow process and procedures for both site-specific projects and the Remote Operations Center.

General

• The Craft Training Lead is responsible for guiding, developing, and coordinating craft training programs for Black & Veatch construction professionals.
• This role supports the strategic direction of the business line by planning, implementing, and maintaining high‑quality training programs that strengthen field performance, craft capability, and operational consistency.
• As a key training leader, this role oversees and supports instructors across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment in curriculum, delivery methods, and compliance with NCCER and internal training standards.
• The Craft Training Lead partners closely with Safety, HR, Quality, and project operations to identify training needs and create solutions.
• The role also supports staff‑training initiatives when required and drives a unified ONE B&V training approach across the organization.

Construction Craft Training Lead

• Supports commissioning teams by resolving defined technical issues with guidance from senior engineers
• Reviews protection, control, and SCADA designs for basic constructability and testability
