About the role
- Lead customer-facing teams engaging hospital stakeholders across Pharmacy, Nursing, Surgery
Direct, coach, and motivate ~30+ colleagues including HSDs, ABMs and virtual sales teams
Manage portfolio of 150+ products and 650+ SKUs; support new product launches and return-to-market opportunities
Collaborate with National Account Directors and cross-functional HQ teams to develop execution plans and contract strategies
Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve financial goals and manage promotional spending
Hire, train, and lead field sales and contract teams; conduct national/regional/district meetings
Analyze US business conditions; establish relationships with hospital stakeholders and train managers in complex organizational navigation
Maintain compliance with Pfizer policies and relevant regulations; ensure Incentive Compensation compliance
Travel for meetings, field visits, training, and other business activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years in Sales and/or Account Management
Preferable experience as a District Manager and Regional Business Director
Experience in Marketing and/or Account/Channels Management across multiple therapeutic areas are preferred
Breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
Motivational leader with a proven history of successfully driving and enhancing customer value while achieving financial objectives
Excellent people skills, ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, proficient conflict management and negotiation skills
Proven success in managing people within a diverse and complex portfolio
Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action; excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner
Experience interfacing and collaborating with senior-level customers and other external stakeholders
BA/BS degree required, advanced degree preferred
