This role is in-office Mondays–Thursdays, with a work-from-home day on Friday, if desired.
The role owns Billd’s supplier channel, acquiring new partner suppliers, deepening relationships, and ensuring the channel delivers on customer acquisition targets.
Lead negotiations with C-level executives at suppliers and manage all contract obligations.
Work with Sales Development Reps and Territory Managers to ensure contractor referrals flow through the Billd sales funnel and convert to customers.
Develop marketing and sales strategies to drive contractor referrals from partner suppliers.
Conduct in-person and virtual demos to activate supplier partnerships.
Review and manage ongoing supplier deal flow with pipeline reviews with sales and operations.
Provide product feedback to evolve Billd’s supplier channel.
Travel approximately 10%.
Requirements
5-7 years of channel sales or business development experience
Ability to thrive in an environment of high ambiguity and change
Must have a competitive drive and persevere to consistently achieve excellence and overcome adversity
Must be a self starter and continuously invest in self development and learning
Experience selling financial services products to building material suppliers is preferred
Familiarity with technology tools such as Salesforce, Outreach and Slack is preferred
