Platform automates the permitting process from jurisdiction research to application preparation, submission, and tracking.
Raised $36.5M+ with investors including Kleiner Perkins, Initialized Capital, and Y Combinator.
HQ in New York City with hybrid schedule (3 in-office days per week); preference for NYC-based candidates or relocation.
Lead and manage engineers; conduct 1:1s, feedback, and career development.
Set technical direction, anticipate scaling challenges, define priorities, track KPIs, and manage technical debt.
Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Ensure best practices in architecture, system design, code quality, scalability, reliability, and security.
Work with stakeholders to prioritize feature development and enhance customer experience.
Lead hiring and provide mentorship, including to junior managers.

5+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
Strong alignment with PermitFlow’s culture; comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity.
Proven experience managing and scaling teams in a startup.
Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
Bonus: Experience in high-growth startups or SaaS.
