About the role
- Manage and be responsible for the commercial relationship between Biffa and specified major clients, covering financial performance, growth and development.
- Manage a team of Account Executives at the Aylesbury office.
- Ensure meeting relevant KPIs and SLAs, compliance, customer satisfaction and retention, and innovative solutions.
- Act as main point of contact between Biffa and major clients; implement business account plans and ensure contract compliance.
- Foster positive relationships and expand service provisions to retain major clients and achieve budgeted annual revenue.
- Conduct customer reviews and present detailed reports using Power BI covering service success, landfill diversion, weights, and financials.
- Support depots and customer services in resolving site-related issues (including Health and Safety, container changes, alternative services).
- Maintain customer debt positions in line with contractual commitments and manage invoicing queries within SLAs.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to negotiate, influence, and communicate internally and externally for long-term benefits.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards and implement adjustments for regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Customer Service Experience
- Leadership and people skills with an excellent coaching ability.
- Track record of delivering targets and working towards KPI’s.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate that to a team whilst making the complex simple.
- Knowledge of people management processes.
