About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop the outside sales team in generating new dealers and growing existing dealer business
- Manage and utilize CRM to capture opportunities and create visibility on dealer pipeline
- Lead, manage, and support outside and inside sales teams in identifying and building dealer channel opportunities
- Lead, manage and provide oversight for the internal dealer order processing team, including migration from sales order to purchase order through release to production scheduling
- Work closely with Operations to ensure sales orders convert to successfully shipped finished products
- Develop and deploy strategy, measure and respond to strategic metrics, and maintain marketplace understanding
- Develop and report sales funnel and KPI analytics to sales team and leadership
- Partner with marketing to develop and manage lead handling and flow
- Cross-functional collaboration to support overall business improvement efforts
- Manage multiple priorities and projects and deliver them on time
- Ongoing engagement with dealers, partners, and associations within key market segments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in business, marketing, finance, design, or construction)
- 3 years leading a sales team
- Documented experience leading remote, regionally focused sales professionals
- Documented experience in management and optimization of CRM systems
- Experienced in consultative selling and coaching others
- Experience and/or combination of education and experience in customer service
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience or combination of experience and education in construction or related discipline
- Bathing-specific industry knowledge is a plus
- Accessible and aging industry knowledge is a plus
- Composite industry knowledge is a plus
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and be insurable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Requires traveling a minimum of two weeks per month
- Requires good credit history
- Thorough working knowledge of sales practices/procedures and general office practices
- Extensive knowledge of business and technical writing
- Excellent presentation, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience in sales management software a plus
