About the role
- Contact and engage with a provided list of leads to generate interest and set up new business opportunities for clients.
- Make 20+ outreach calls per day from the provided contact list.
- Present client products in a clear and professional manner.
- Qualify prospects and capture interest for follow up by the sales team.
- Maintain accurate notes and records of all conversations in a CRM/Software.
- Meet daily and weekly outreach goals.
- Work closely with the field sales team, marketing, and other internal departments to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to sales efforts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Opportunity to grow and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and learning the medical device industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field or 3-5 years of relative inside sales experience in leu of degree.
- Proven experience in inside sales, lead generation, or a similar role, preferably within the life sciences or healthcare industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering value.
- Comfortable with high call volume and speaking with decision makers
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Comfortable with a flexible part time schedule (approx. 20 hours/week)
- Active and unrestricted drivers license.
- Understand that this is a temporary assignment with potential for extension (preferred attribute).
- Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.
- Must complete healthcare facility credentialing and meet immunization requirements (MMR, Varicella, Negative TB Test, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza, COVID-19 primary series; boosters may be required).
