• Responsible for controlling the Infrastructure and Major Projects business units as well as Procurement and Legal
• Financial responsibility for the planning, control and reporting of primarily large and complex construction projects
• Advanced project controlling (technical/financial support) of individual major and construction projects and ensuring their orderly execution

• Responsibility for technical challenges in the rehabilitation and maintenance of metro (U-Bahn) infrastructure
• Initiation, handling and review of maintenance and repair measures for metro infrastructure, including during train operations and under challenging conditions
• Development of solutions to implement complex maintenance projects involving many stakeholders and tight deadlines
• Responsibility for and coordination of negotiations to integrate planned construction measures into operational processes
• Final acceptance of construction projects and internal handover to operations/users
• Determination of maintenance needs for engineering structures based on condition ratings you assess and evaluate yourself
• Management of framework contracts, e.g., for construction services or metalwork and painting

Civil Engineer – Metro Infrastructure Maintenance (m/f/d)

Engineer

• Planning, coordinating and overseeing all measures related to tram overhead line and traction power cable systems
• Defining design and planning specifications for the operation, maintenance and fault clearance of our systems
• Reviewing all relevant documentation
• Preparing work and service instructions for the subordinate overhead line maintenance team
• Involvement from tendering and contract award through to invoice verification
• Ensuring the successful commissioning of all overhead line and cable systems

Electrical Engineer for Tram Overhead Lines

Procurement

• Cost-optimized, timely and quality-compliant procurement of assigned product groups in the IT domain
• Prepare, conduct and compile complex national and international procurement processes and tenders
• Accompany activity planning of specialist departments from a commercial perspective to ensure a balanced cost-benefit ratio
• Develop modern procurement strategies and advise specialist departments on public procurement law issues
• Draft and define verified cost-effectiveness calculations based on the procurement law applicable at BVG
• Identify and develop innovative optimization potentials aligned with corporate objectives
• Compliant documentation and preparation of award-relevant evaluation and decision criteria
