About the role

  • Responsible for controlling the Infrastructure and Major Projects business units as well as Procurement and Legal
  • Financial responsibility for the planning, control and reporting of primarily large and complex construction projects
  • Advanced project controlling (technical/financial support) of individual major and construction projects and ensuring their orderly execution
  • Commercial project management (monitoring and moderating commercial processes)
  • Preparation of target/actual comparisons and monitoring of schedule and budget compliance in cooperation with project management
  • Regular reporting to internal and external supervisory bodies (including performance and results forecasts), including analysis, monitoring and documentation of opportunities and risks
  • Prepare and document all commercial documentation to ensure compliance throughout the entire project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Knowledge, skills and experience in construction project controlling
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering (technical focus on Civil Engineering) or Business Administration combined with Civil Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • German language level at least C1
  • Practical experience in construction projects
  • Proficient user of SAP R/3, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SAC, BI tools and MS Office
  • Knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations (e.g. LHO, VOB, VOL, HOAI, BGB, BauGB, HGB)
  • Strong communicator who acts confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders at all hierarchy levels
