About the role

  • Responsibility for technical challenges in the rehabilitation and maintenance of metro (U-Bahn) infrastructure
  • Initiation, handling and review of maintenance and repair measures for metro infrastructure, including during train operations and under challenging conditions
  • Development of solutions to implement complex maintenance projects involving many stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Responsibility for and coordination of negotiations to integrate planned construction measures into operational processes
  • Final acceptance of construction projects and internal handover to operations/users
  • Determination of maintenance needs for engineering structures based on condition ratings you assess and evaluate yourself
  • Management of framework contracts, e.g., for construction services or metalwork and painting

Requirements

  • Completed degree* (Bachelor or University of Applied Sciences) in Civil Engineering or equivalent skills and knowledge based on long-standing professional experience
  • Very good German language skills, spoken and written (C1)
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws (e.g., BOStrab, VOL, VOB, HOAI) or willingness to acquire this knowledge
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and a confident presence
  • Independent and goal-oriented working approach with a structured and quality-conscious style
