About the role
- Provide full consultancy services on both Group Health and Risk Benefits to a portfolio of mid to high value customers
- Manage, retain, and grow corporate customers predominantly based on the OneHub online flexible benefits platform
- Manage multiple service lines within Healthcare (PMI, Dental, Cashplan, EAPs, Health Assessments) and Group Risk (Group Income Protection, Critical Illness, Group Life Assurance, Travel Insurance, Partner Life Assurance)
- Contribute to profitable revenue growth across multiple services and achieve Corporate Benefits’ team strategy, plans and targets
- Build detailed knowledge of each customer account, their health & wellbeing strategy/approach and decision makers
- Secure broking meetings, coordinating relevant product and service experts and stakeholders as required
- Compile and lead high quality presentations and negotiations
- Expand the level of business within existing services and expand the number of services per customer (cross sell)
- Ensure timely delivery of agreed services to the client in line with the Benifex project plan, working closely with Client Service Directors and Strategic Consultancy team members
- Participate in weekly project calls and attend and present at quarterly client meetings
- Possibly present to and negotiate with large corporate customers
- Engage in business development and consultative selling activities
Requirements
- Proven successful track record of commercial delivery and business development of Health and Risk customers
- Proven experience of delivering Health and Risk consulting advice and solutions , as well as presenting to, large corporate customers
- Technical proficiency: Advanced knowledge of how Group Health products (PMI, Dental, Cashplan, EAPs and Health Assessments) and Group Risk products (Group Life Assurance, Income Protection, Critical Illness, Travel Insurance and Partner Life Assurance etc.).
- IF7 and/or GR1 qualified (or working towards it)
- Clear understanding of FCA procedures and requirements
- Able to recognise and ensure delivery of customer service excellence
- Financial / P&L management and budgeting experience
- Excellent customer relationship building and stakeholder management skills with ability to build a network of contacts, both internally and externally
- Consultative selling skills
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to work cross functionally across diverse teams, facilitating collaborative working to ensure delivery for customers
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the corporate benefits environment
- Must be based in the UK or Ireland
