About the role
- Leads large projects by developing detailed project plans, managing timelines and resources, and establishing clear goals
- Identifies and mitigates risks, and develops corrective action plans
- Demonstrates awareness of PMBOK project management, PRINCE2, or applicable PM standard with a firm understanding of two
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of the project
- Responsible for allocating all necessary resources to meet project objectives, corporate financial, and customer satisfaction goals
- The project manager is responsible for direct communication to customer’s organization and relevant senior stakeholders internally by conducting project reviews throughout the life of the project
- In addition, the project manager is responsible for the overall pre-tax profit of all projects
- This position is remote; travel 50-75% and location: candidates should be in Eastern US
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- PMP Certification
- 3+ years of Project/Program Management
- Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
- Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
- Travel Requirements 50-75%
