Data Scientist

• Own and execute data science work across autonomy, safety, and product, focusing on the highest-impact analytical problems
• Analyze machine telemetry, operational data, and user workflows to surface insights that improve system performance, safety, and usability
• Define and track key metrics that measure system behavior and product outcomes
• Design and evaluate experiments, analyses, and validation approaches in partnership with engineering and product teams
• Collaborate closely with ML platform and data engineering teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and fit for analysis
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing roadmap and design decisions
• Contribute to the foundation of data science practices at Bedrock, helping shape how future work and teams scale

Machine Learning Engineer

• Develop and train state-of-the-art models that fuse raw Lidar and Camera data.
• Build perception systems robust enough to handle dynamic occlusion, particulates, and high-vibration conditions.
• Optimize models for inference on embedded hardware, debug system-level issues.

Hardware Engineer

• Help define system and component level HW architecture for autonomous machines
• Establish and lead relationships and programs with external vendors to deliver critical components and systems for our autonomous HW platforms
• Work with safety team to establish requirements and performance metrics for components and systems
• Write reusable, high quality, sensor data analysis and test automation software (Python and/or C++/C/Rust)

Infrastructure Engineer

• Integrate simulators into the Cloud platform. Own the seam between our simulators and the rest of Cloud: how a simulator job gets deployed, how its physics and rendering components are packaged and plumbed together, how it’s instrumented, and how it runs efficiently at scale.
• Run sim reliably in automation. Make it trivially easy to kick off simulation workflows as part of CI, and keep the nightly sim workflows that gate our releases reliable and fast.
• Be Cloud’s point person for simulation engineers. Translate the Sim team’s needs into platform work, push composable primitives back into the rest of Cloud, and obsess over removing friction from the sim workflow so engineers can iterate as fast as possible.
• Prepare for what’s next. Sim at Bedrock is evolving quickly. You’ll help us evaluate options and stand up the infrastructure for whichever directions we commit to.
