About the role
- Being confident in defending and selling a high-ROI solution
- Demonstrating the value propositions of our products and services
- Drive conversational discovery dialogue with the customer in order to reveal underneath pains and requirements
- Convincing client’s IT personnel and being able to “talk shop” with them
- Partnering with the client’s marketing and merchandising staff and working through their organization to find the key decision makers
- Working through the legal aspects of the contract with the client’s lawyer while leveraging our internal counsel to close the deal
- Demonstrates passion and energy both externally with the customer and internally with cross functional teams
- Consistently build and manage an effective pipeline and communicate proactively with leadership throughout each phase of the renewal/sales process
- Manage renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities across a broad territory
Requirements
- 1+ years relative experience in software, SaaS, or Internet marketing
- Ability to identify target accounts, appropriate contacts, and formulate strategies to both renew and generate more interest in Bazaarvoice
- Ability to generate, qualify, and execute on renewals and opportunities in order to exceed revenue targets
- Proven ability to articulate a vision that resonates with the customer and demonstrates value
- Experience using two way discovery to uncover customer need and match solutions to that need
- Ability to build trusted and long relationships
- A strong understanding of business practices, industry trends, and competitors for each renewal/sales cycle
- Effectively create and articulate ROI in the negotiation process
- Experience with renewals and exposure to upsells and cross-sells
- Comfort engaging client IT personnel, marketing and merchandising stakeholders, and legal teams
- Willingness to complete a background check
