Bazaarvoice is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Lead - Strategic Accounts to lead our APAC Strategic Sales team.
Based in Sydney, this is a unique player/coach role where you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Account Directors while also managing a small personal portfolio of strategic accounts.
Primary focus will be on driving renewals and growth within a territory of $1B+ enterprise clients (Brands & Retail), as well as new logo acquisition.
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Account Directors, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional growth.
Develop and execute a strategic plan for the territory, setting clear goals for revenue growth, retention, and market penetration.
Manage a personal portfolio of strategic accounts and prospects, acting as a trusted advisor to senior-level executives and owning the entire customer lifecycle.
Use consultative selling and articulate ROI in negotiation to demonstrate value to customers and Bazaarvoice.
Partner with Global Sales Teams, Client Success, Pre-sales, and Client Delivery to achieve regional growth objectives and ensure accurate forecasting.
Maintain strong understanding of business practices, industry trends, competitors, and the social media environment throughout each renewal and sales cycle.
Requirements
A minimum of 6+ years of experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets, both as a leader and an individual contributor.
Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions to large enterprise clients, preferably within the retail or brand space.
Proven experience selling into and navigating large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholders.
Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing $1B+ retailers and brands, with the ability to articulate how Bazaarvoice's solutions can solve their business problems.
Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with a passion for developing talent and building high-performing, collaborative teams.
Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically about market dynamics and growth opportunities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
