About the role
- growing, developing and managing Xero’s relationships with existing Xero partners
- as an Account Manager on our Go-To-Market Sales team, you are the strategic growth partner for Accounting and Bookkeeping firms
- helping them build a modern, cloud-first practice with our suite of tools
- move them through Xero status’ by signing clients onto Xero
- developing business plans with partners to develop their online strategy
- managing your territory to recruit, educate and grow the Xero Partner channel
- collaborate to help our partners and each other succeed
Requirements
- Direct experience in inbound phone and email sales
- Proven sales performance with the ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners over the phone
- An interest and intrigue in the emerging online accounting market
- Accounting Product knowledge and understanding of the workings of an Accounting Practice
- Attention to detail and follow-up
- Direct experience with long term sales cycles and managing long term client relationships
- Loads of initiative and self-motivation
- Experience with presentation and spreadsheet tools including a CRM database
