Technical Account Manager

• Must be willing to reside within one hour of Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office HQ
• Achieve mastery of all Axon technologies and products
• Use exceptional written and oral communication skills to effectively lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with VP-level and senior stakeholder audiences within your account
• Use leadership skills to independently prioritize and execute project tasks in a methodical and disciplined manner
• Manage customer expectations, keeping customers satisfied while ensuring expectations remain realistic

• Provide limited redaction support, primarily in the form of technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting

• Engage with your customers through regular calls, business reviews and daily needs
• Monitor and manage adoption metrics to ensure customers are utilizing the full Axon platform
• Create success plans for your customers and document customer progress toward established goals and results

• Respond quickly to critical technical issues, acting as a crisis manager to restore functionality and minimize impact on agency operations.
• Represent agency needs and feedback internally at Axon, influencing product development and service improvements.
• Guide agencies through change management processes, identifying pain points and providing solutions to optimize software usage and adoption.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Utilize tools like Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, and Form Builder/JSON to build custom dashboards, manage data integrations, and support reporting needs.
• Provide advanced training and training documentation to agency staff on Axon’s products and services, ensuring they are well-equipped to use the tools effectively.

Software Technical Account Manager II – Traveling

Account Executive

• Manage and grow revenue and market share at designated agencies to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve strategic objectives
• Develop and maintain client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
• Develop and execute account strategy by collaborating with account team to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions

• Own and drive the strategy and execution for a multi-state Corrections territory, building and executing account plans to execute large scale, technology-driven operational transformation across state departments of corrections in the territory
• Develop and execute territory and account strategies for large, high-impact agencies, focused on long-term revenue growth and market expansion
• Lead complex, multi-year sales cycles that drive meaningful transformation, positioning Axon’s solutions as a strategic priority—not a nice-to-have
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships, creating alignment and urgency across multiple stakeholders within state agencies
• Identify, shape, and close high-value opportunities, navigating procurement, budget cycles, and regulatory complexity unique to public sector sales
