About the role
- Develop outreach campaigns, identify qualified prospects, and craft tailored communications
- Manage Axios Live event revenue pipeline, reporting, and tracking
- Ensure go-to-market (GTM) resources are effectively rolled out to client-facing teams
- Support the sales team in addressing client inquiries and responding to RFPs
- Collaborate with Event Operations to manage inventory and ensure seamless transition from pre-sale to post-sale
- Develop and manage go-to-market strategies and resources for Axios Live at global, national, and local levels
- Identify, secure, and track new revenue opportunities
- Report to Senior Director of Axios Live Partnerships and work closely with colleagues across sales, strategy, and marketing
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in media and/or event sales, client relations, and sponsorships
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client-facing and customer service skills, with a keen commercial instinct to support business development efforts
- Experience with executive outreach and scheduling
- Strong project management skills and sales fundamentals
- Ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth sales team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite products
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and an ability to prioritize effectively
