About the role
- Partner with sales teams as the primary technical resource in customer engagements
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into tailored solution proposals
- Build trust through clear, honest, and technically sound guidance
- Design system architectures and deployment strategies customized to each customer
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations
- Prepare proposals, diagrams, and supporting technical documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams (Service Enablement, Delivery, Assurance) to align solutions with capabilities
- Provide field feedback to improve products and go-to-market strategies
- Support smooth handover to delivery teams post-contract
- Contribute to building scalable processes, templates, and best practices
- Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Telecom, Electrical, Computer, or related field)
- Experience with Satellite, RAN vendors, or MNOs preferred
- A minimum of 5 years in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Consultant role, preferably in telecom, networking, or related industries
- Strong understanding of gateways, networking, LTE/5G connectivity, and service platforms
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on experience with system integration, troubleshooting, and customer demos
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and startup agility
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, demos, and field trials
- Experience in satellite, IoT, or telecom infrastructure
- Familiarity with proposal writing and RFP responses
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and deliverables
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar
- Ability to work in a standard office environment
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods
- Willingness to travel as needed
