About the role

  • Oversee ethics-related programs and initiatives, including E&C technology strategy and solutions, E&C helpline operations, Code of Ethics and other E&C policies.
  • Act as subject matter contact on corporate ethics policies and guidelines related to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and maintain knowledge of relevant ethics issues and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Lead team responsible for the Conflict-of-Interest program and serve as key member of a senior-level cross-functional investigation response team.
  • Lead data analysis and report generation for internal and external stakeholders including the Audit Committee, management committee, ESG, clients, exam responses, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct ethics investigations as needed and provide ethics consultation to employees, business partners, and senior management.
  • Manage overall ethics & compliance training portfolio; develop global strategy for in-house and third-party training and serve as SME for course content.
  • Partner with Learning & Development and subject matter experts to deliver training and assess program effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative measures.
  • Lead global ethics & compliance communications strategy, execute awareness initiatives, and collaborate with regional partners to ensure integrated communications.
  • Execute governance processes related to E&C training, interactive code of conduct, and other ethics-related policies; identify patterns of emerging risk and develop awareness messages.
  • Develop strategies to help leaders promote a speak-up environment; build and lead a global Ethics Ambassador network and program.
  • Identify trends and create reports of ethics & compliance metrics and findings; document business requirements, compliance issues, and resolutions; support enterprise policy management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Legal, Business Administration, Communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive compliance experience, preferably in a manager or director role, with demonstrated knowledge of ethics and compliance rules, regulations, and best practices.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct leadership experience, including virtual teams.
  • Proven experience overseeing the conflict-of-interest program.
  • Proven experience in developing easy-to-understand policies.
  • Proven experience developing a global ethics & compliance training and awareness strategy and serving as SME for the development of ethics & compliance training and awareness content.
  • Ability to establish credibility with business owners, including senior leadership, through professional communication and work product.
  • Solutions-oriented, demonstrated growth mindset, and strong analytical skills.
  • Champion a culture of integrity and adherence to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders of various levels and areas throughout the organization.
  • Successful track record working in a multi-function, global environment.
  • Ability to lead change efforts through effective communication and persuasion.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering creative ethics & compliance communications content/awareness initiatives to a global audience.
  • Prior experience developing and/or leading an ethics ambassador or liaison program.
  • Prior experience responding to ethics inquiries and investigating allegations of misconduct.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and prior experience presenting to large groups.
  • Demonstrated success integrating ethics & compliance into daily business operations.
  • Proven track record in developing, designing, and implementing global policies, procedures, and training in a diverse, matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite, with specific emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience leveraging AI and advanced analytics within ethics and compliance programs.
  • Proven track record in integrating emerging technologies, with attention to bias, transparency, and regulatory guidance.
  • Impeccable integrity and commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
  • Have or be willing to obtain applicable compliance certification, such as CCEP, LPEC, CRCM, etc.
  • Auditing and monitoring experience is a plus.
